Bullfrog Power offers 100 per cent EcoLogo^M (external link) certified wind power (external link) generated from Alberta wind farms. Here's how it works. You will continue to receive and pay for your electricity supply from your current energy provider. In addition to your regular power bill, you will receive a separate electronic bill from Bullfrog for the greening of your electricity service. Then, on your behalf, Bullfrog Power will provide the same amount of your home’s electricity consumption to Alberta’s electricity grid. This will add 2¢/kWh to your electricity costs.

For the Rewards dollars, ENMAX Energy will ensure 5000 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) per year of renewable energy is secured on your behalf from an EcoLogo^M (external link) certified facility in Alberta. Five thousand (5000) kWhs of renewable energy is enough to supply about two-thirds (2/3) of an average Alberta household’s electricity consumption for an entire year!

Just Energy Alberta L.P. (Just Energy) offers Natural Gas and Electricity Price Protection Plans with the option of complementing consumers' plans with green energy (external link). Just Energy will ensure the volume of green power and/or gas you have selected is provided to the local electricity grid and/or locally based carbon offset projects, when possible.
